I'm watching McCain on David Letterman. I really am pretty clueless on this. I just know that I'd probably get along with Obama. Maybe. I guess I should know better than to meddle with things such as American politics. I get too involved I guess. Right now, tabs on my browser are those of McCain and Obama websites and Facebook (Obama) accounts. I need to talk to someone, fast. Somebody to clear this up for me. I get swayed a lot when people I admire don't support the same advocacies as I do. I mean, I admire these people because I think they're smart, opinionated individuals. Then I find out they have pretty good arguments that contradict my own. Then I begin to doubt myself. So it gets pretty crazy. I have issues. These are my formative years, people! Do you know where I can get a political debate sparring partner?

I'm seriously supposed to WORK ON MY PAPER. But one of my blog idols (yes, he's one of 'em cool people--->Dominique) tagged me, I'm doing it. I'm a cool people sucker that way. Woot. Oh yeah. Since I don't know that many bloggers I'm tagging multiply people. So... here goes..

My quest for "cool people", i realized, was ahbsolutely pointless. Thanks to serendipity, my very much hung-over self ran into what i thought was one yesterday. I was giddy. for a while. Then just now I realized that "cool people" are people too. They have lives. It's annoying. In the movies dorks don't get girlfriends. (Well, Paddy's an exception.. :P) In real life they do. And let me tell you, it's not gonna be pretty (I mean the situation, not the girls. The girlfriends aren't bad.) Nerds should stay single and worry about what the rest of the world is too busy with their significant others to think about. Really.. They're not cool people anymore. They're normal. I hate it.

I HAVE BRAGGING RIGHTS. Really.

Background: For our Comm3 class we were asked to come up with a topic and interview an expert in that topic. Since I am the biggest crammer, I crammed this one too and since I don't know my roomate's last name (It's Jose btw.).. I thought of another topic and interviewee. The name that I happened to remember at that time was Howie Severino. It's probably because at that time I was fresh from the I-Witness Docufest at the Film Institute (Roberto did not come with me as he promised. Hmmmmmph.). So yeah. I chose him. Just so I could pass my homework. I knew that I was being airheaded since he's a busy person. He's a journalist/investigative reporter/ kind of a CELEBRITY for goodness' sake! Why would he attend to me??? As Guido put it "Sana pumili ka man lang ng mas maabot. " (Maybe he was just bitter because I passed only one topic and it got approved no questions asked and he had to revise his. Hahahahahaha.. Kidding!)

Well... Guess what, NON-BELIEVERS?

HE AGREED.

I e-mailed him. I did not expect a reply. I was actually geared up to come up with a different topic. I guess God does help those who help themselves! Thank you Howie Severino!

One Candle Schoolhouse - Hmm.. Okay. I admit. I'm new to this one. But basically the One Candle Schoolhouse is an informal school put up by Bill and Diane Pool. Pisay WV people! Remember Tulong Dunong? Well, what they're doing is something like that (only I don't think they do PSHS entrance exam reviews) -teach less fortunate kids.
